Directors Code of Conduct

The Board is committed to ensuring the highest standards of probity in its governance arrangements and upholds the seven principles of public life identified by the Nolan Committee which guide the content of the company’s Code of Conduct: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.

All directors are required to sign up to and to uphold these principles in their work with Barnet Homes at all times.

The Board has a Standards & Ethics Committee which deals with breaches of the Code of Conduct.

Barnet Homes also has a whistleblowing policy to enable board directors, staff and residents to report wrong doing to a confidential hotline.
