Barnet Homes is managed by a Board made up of council nominees, residents and independents with professional skills and experience to help run the services.

The role of Board Member is undertaken on a voluntary basis, although out of pocket expenses and loss of earnings are paid. Membership on the Board presents a significant opportunity to serve the local community, and also to be a part of contributing to the delivery of high quality housing management and maintenance service to Barnet’s tenants and leaseholders.

The strong tenant presence on the Board reflects our commitment to tenant involvement. The Board is responsible for the overall strategy and performance targets of Barnet Homes, and it monitors progress in achieving these strategic objectives and targets.
