Barnet Homes was created by Barnet Council to manage and modernise its council homes and estates. We are a non-profit making company owned by Barnet Council.

We took over responsibility for managing Barnet's 15,000 council homes, including 3,900 leasehold properties, from 1 April 2004. We are also bringing all council properties up to the government's Decent Homes standard by 2010-11.

Barnet Homes is managed by a Board made up of council nominees, tenants, one leaseholder and independent directors with professional skills and experience to help run the services.
